Jaroslav Chrapko is a successful businessman from Pezinok. As a 20-year-old, he founded the company Dedoles, which has been gradually developing over the years and today, through its e-shops, sells cheerful products of its brand in 21 European markets. The portfolio consists not only of “cheerful socks that have no pair,” but also underwear, T-shirts, swimwear, slippers, slides, and an ever-expanding range of original products designed by Slovak designers. In 2015, Dedoles became the winner of the Eshop Accelerator competition (the competition is currently known as MastersGate). In 2017, Jaro ranked among the 30 young successful Slovaks in the Forbes 30under30 poll. In 2020, Dedoles received the “Trend Shop 2021” award from the leading German IT consumer magazine Computer Bild and the Golden Effie (award for the most effective marketing communication) for its advertising campaign “Cheerful Socks that have no pair” at the end of the same year. In Slovakia, Dedoles employs almost 600 people and the company further plans to increase the number of its employees. Dedoles is aware of its social responsibility, supporting several non-profit organizations and projects that help improve the quality of life in our society.
